My passion is design.

I am a designer and artist based in Chicago who believes in the power of architecture and design to create and reveal beauty in the world.

I attended the University of Maryland where I studied architecture (M.Arch., 2010) and scenic design for theatre (B.A., 2007). While at Maryland, I participated in the 2011 Solar Decathlon as a member of the WaterShed conceptual and schematic design team. WaterShed won the international competition, placing first overall as well as taking first in the Architecture category.

For my Master’s thesis at Maryland, I worked closely with the congregation at Beth Israel, a Jewish temple near Cleveland, Ohio on the design of a new sanctuary and campus. My thesis can be read here.
